Listen up, everyone:

Less is really more.

Here is a fine example:

Sample A

One late night, while walking home, I stumbled upon this beauty (sample A) at Place de la Concorde. I was immediately attracted to her because of the mystery. Who are you? Where do you come from? And what are you doing here? The less she revealed the more I desired.

Sample B

The following night, having taken the same route home, I ran into her again (sample B), but this time she had changed. She was still undeniably beautiful, however, the mystery was gone. In the brief moment it took me to recognize her, I had already figured her out. Her purpose was clear and without another thought, I walked on.

Las Mujers del Sur

The women below definitely understand what looks best on the female figure; curves, curves and more curves. Brandon and I spotted these sumptuous ladies in Mexico.

Off-the-Fly Designs

One of my fashion sketches. Feedback is welcome.

A Fashion Analysis of World Flags.

Flags are decorative and meaning-laden textiles; and thus subject to fashion analysis.
They are nationalist branding; responsible for conveying the style and personality of an entire people.
Below are, in our opinion, some of the sleekest and most admirable of world flags:

White Skin. Black Heart. Blue Blood.
Estonia's rather chilling national flag.

Seychelles Islands. Beautiful color combos and
color play

The fierce directness of the Saudi flag; atleast in
contrast with the monochrome forest-green field of the Libyan flag.

Complex medievalism with St. Pierre.

RĂ©union in terse color resonance.

Mongolia: kooky design more than making up for
wonky fast-food color palette.

Marshall Islands borrowing a crisp Space-Age
aesthetic for their banner.

Gibraltar. Mildly reminiscent of a Nintendo
or Commodore 64 adventure aesthetic.

Audacious effort by Guam; having bought their territorial seal
in one of their own island souvenir shops. The only thing
missing is a surfing dinosaur.

The very cryptic, very appealing flag of Greenland.

Isle of Mann, which no doubt has a
historical and political significance
that escapes the author.

Cambodia. Clean and classic look. A perfect flag.

Brunei, drawn and written
in a delightfully loose hand

Even in comparison to the rather intimidating
images of its Balkan neighbors, Albania hands-down
wins the award for the "world's evilest flag."

Mission Statement

This latest and greatest contribution to the World Wide Blogosphere is dedicated to the latest and greatest ideas in fashion. The experimental. The unintentional. Brazen anti-fashion and meta-fashion. It is not intended to be, in any conceivable, ironic. The individuals pictured— from dear friends to the hopelessly deranged to our own half-cooked conceptions— are our fashion exemplars and models. This blog is an investigation of clothing and clothing-concepts, accompanied perhaps by a slightly abstruse poetics.

We will post and discuss designs, wardrobes, streetwear and exemplars, lifestyle, accessories, personal heroes, theories, and whatever catches our eye and fancy.

We hope you enjoy...
